My grandmother taught me the joy of sewing and crafting often using fabrics we already had around the house. Together, we created a quilt pillow top made entirely of my grandfather’s ties.
A few years ago…
I was reflecting on fond memories of crafting with my grandmother when I had a great idea. What if I could repurpose jeans and men’s silk ties into retro bell bottoms with a modern flair? And just like . My first pair was an instant hit—the compliments kept coming and people started asking me where they could buy them. I’ve been making them and custom creations for friends and family ever since.
Now...
After creating so many custom denim pieces, I decided to take the leap. My products are all repurposed, up-cycled, and unique so you can wear sustainable fashion that looks good too. Using denim, ties, and other textiles from consignment stores all across the country, my creations are beautifully different and sustainably made.
